First National Bank of Bellevue is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Bechtel as the new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective March 31, 2025. With over 37 years of experience in the banking industry, Bechtel brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success to the role.
Bechtel has previously held leadership positions at 5/3rd Bank, PNC, First Federal of Lakewood and First National Bank of Pennsylvania. He was instrumental in growing, developing, and leading a dedicated team of professionals and looks forward to sustaining the economic momentum of our region. His commitment to community banking and customer service aligns perfectly with the bank’s mission to provide exceptional financial services to our community. As a resident of Catawba Island, Jeff’s familiarity with the bank’s existing footprint is a great asset.
“We are excited to welcome Jeff to our team,” said Jim Stouffer, Chairman of the Board. “His vision and leadership will be vital as we continue to grow and enhance our services for our customers and the communities we serve. Without question, retiring President and CEO Dean Miller has been the cornerstone of this institution for almost 20 years and his legacy of customer care and success is greatly appreciated.” Dean will remain on the board of directors and assume the title of President Emeritus to assist with a smooth transition of leadership.
“I am honored to join First National Bank of Bellevue as President and CEO,” said Bechtel. “I look forward to working with our dedicated team to strengthen relationships with our loyal customers and the community, while driving innovation and growth.”
